Financial Accounting and Advisory Associate Director

This role involves working on a broad range of technical accounting, financial reporting, and business advisory assignments, and leading technically complex projects.

You'll make an impact by:

  • Leading technically challenging projects, including the application of accounting standards under FRS 102, IFRS, and FRS 101, group reconstructions, GAAP conversions, technical accounting papers, and acquisition accounting support.
  • Contributing to business growth through proposal development, supporting senior leadership, and participating in industry and networking initiatives.
  • Coaching and developing junior staff while building skills in business development.
  • Delivering complex accountancy-related projects such as IFRS transition consultancy work.

What we're looking for:

We value diverse experiences and perspectives. Our ideal candidate will have:

  • ACA qualification or equivalent.
  • Strong UK GAAP and IFRS financial reporting experience.
  • Experience in professional practice within an accounting advisory team or providing written accounting advice to clients.
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills.
  • Experience supervising and coaching junior staff.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
