Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Counsel to join our legal team. The successful candidate will provide expert legal advice, support negotiations, and assist in managing legal risks across various projects. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to organisational compliance and strategic decision-making within a dynamic environment. Responsibilities
- Provide clear and practical legal advice to internal teams on a range of issues, including contracts, compliance, and risk management.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of legal documents, ensuring favourable terms and adherence to organisational policies.
- Support the organisation during negotiations with external parties, including vendors, clients, and partners.
- Assist in the development and implementation of legal policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Conduct legal research on emerging issues affecting the organisation's operations.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify potential legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Maintain accurate records of legal documents and correspondence for audit purposes.
Skills
- Proven experience in legal counsel or related roles within a corporate or organisational setting.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence outcomes favourably while maintaining professional relationships.
- Excellent organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, tailored for diverse audiences.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Freelance
Pay: £35.00-£105.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 25 per week
