Your Mission: Forge New Frontiers in Scientific Sales

As our Sales Specialist, you won't be waiting for the phone to ring. You'll be the engine of our growth, actively seeking out and capturing new business. This is a role for an energetic and strategic operator who loves building something from scratch.

A Day in Your Life Will Involve:

  • Active Prospecting:
    Strategically identifying and targeting new
    sales opportunities
    within universities, biotech firms, and pharmaceutical companies. You'll be the detective, uncovering labs and researchers who need our solutions.
  • Mastering the Outreach:
    Crafting and executing multi-channel outreach campaigns (email, phone, LinkedIn) that cut through the noise and resonate with the scientific community.
  • Engaging the Scientific Mind:
    Holding compelling conversations with scientists at all levels. You'll understand their research, their challenges, and how our portfolio can be the solution to their experimental puzzles.
  • Owning the Territory:
    Planning and executing on-site visits and
    mini-exhibitions
    at key research institutions, creating a buzz and generating high-quality leads.
  • Navigating the Procurement Maze:
    Guiding new clients through the
    procurement
    process, from initial quote to final purchase order, making it a seamless and positive experience.
  • Closing with Impact:
    Driving the sales cycle from start to finish, consistently meeting and exceeding targets, and celebrating every win.

Who We're Looking For: The Sales Scientist

We're looking for potential and passion over a lengthy CV. You don't just sell; you connect, you understand, and you hustle.

You Are:

  • A Natural Hunter:
    You have a relentless drive to find and win new business. The idea of a cold call excites you, and you see rejection as a stepping stone, not a barrier.
  • Scientifically Fluent:
    You hold a BSc or higher in a Life Science discipline, such as Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology, and can confidently discuss complex scientific concepts. You can "talk shop" with researchers and build credibility instantly.
  • Fearlessly Proactive & Bold:
    You don't wait for instructions. You're an agile self-starter who takes initiative, tests new approaches, and isn't afraid to challenge the status quo.
  • An Exceptional Communicator:
    You can articulate value clearly and persuasively, whether in a 140-character tweet or a detailed technical discussion with a senior scientist.
  • Driven & Hungry:
    You have an insatiable appetite for success, a desire to grow, and the ambition to make a real impact on our business and on the future of science.
  • Experience:
    at least 1-2 years of experience in a sales or business development role, particularly within the biotech or life sciences industry, would be a significant advantage.
