We are Analysys Mason – an award-winning global management consulting firm helping clients to make and act on the decisions that steer their progress and connect our world.
Specialising in technology, telecoms, media, space sectors, we provide bespoke transformation, value creation, transaction, strategy and regulation and policy consulting, combined with research and insights. We help clients navigate complex transformation journeys, always shaping the next.
Since 1985, our team has expanded to 450+ professionals across 17 offices in 13 countries and our experts have taken on work in over 140 countries, making us a truly global company.
Our vision is to be the leading authority and catalyst for digital change, connectivity and inclusion. We are committed to a sustainable, connected future – contributing to a world where technology delivers for all.
Since 2000, our Space practice has specialised in the analysis of growth opportunities in the space and satellite market, consistently forecasting events and trends well ahead of when they become common industry knowledge, giving global leaders in the industry the edge they need to achieve their business objectives.
Job DescriptionAs an expert in the space sector, you will be at the forefront of the industry. You will create insightful, original thought-leading content and reports that will be used by globally recognised businesses in their decision-making processes.
You will gather and analyse data, produce valuable insight and present it to your team and clients via presentations or visualisation tools. Depending on your experience, you will progressively have sole responsibility for an entire field of study.
You will work alongside industry experts, and you will develop your own analyst skills through practical and, often, client-facing work. You will attend industry events such as conferences, where you will represent Analysys Mason and provide thought leadership on the space industry.
Your contribution will have an immediate impact for our teams and our clients' needs, influencing strategic decisions and providing thought leadership on the subject.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- collecting data via extensive desk-based research
- researching market developments to identify trends and draw conclusions on future outlooks
- analysing data and formulating a qualitative opinion based on that analysis
- excel modelling and forecasting including working with and manipulating large data sets
- researching industry's hot topics
- writing original research content on specific topics
- presenting your findings to team members and clients
- engaging with clients and stakeholders in the industry with the support of your manager
- proactively developing your market knowledge by tracking industry developments, including attending events and webinars.
We recognise and celebrate the fact that not everybody is the same, and we value the diversity of backgrounds and skillsets you will add to our team.
As a minimum, you need to have experience in a research role in a technical field, where you researched the industry, and created original, thought-leading content.
You also need to enjoy analysing and interpreting large sets of data and creating engaging reports to communicate the patterns and trends that you find.
This is not a technical research role, but very much a business, market research opportunity, where commercial acumen is essential.
You must be fluent in English.
Additional InformationOn top of an exciting opportunity, we offer many attractive benefits, including:
- annual bonus
- 25 days of annual leave
- employer pension contribution
- enhanced maternity leave

- private health and dental care
- mental wellbeing app
- flexible working
- your birthday off
- stepped career progression
- continuous training for professional and personal development
