We have an exciting opportunity to join the Commercial Retail team at Mountain Warehouse as a Space Planning Assistant Analyst. As we continue to build on our data‑focussed approach, you will be a key part of the team supporting commercial decisions through planning retail store layouts, data management and in‑depth analysis. Application Deadline: 14 December 2025 Department: Commercial Location: London Key Responsibilities Space Planning Support the Space Planning Manager in planning new store layouts as part of our active store rollout programme. Analyse the return on space in our current retail estate. Provide support and guidance to various internal functions on tradeable space capabilities within each category/department. Data Maintenance Maintain the global store fixture database. Use the store fixture database to support POS and fixture allocation. Maintain store information database. Maintain promotional data. Performance Reporting Report and analyse new roll‑outs, launches and initiatives. Coordinate data required to set up trials. Report and analyse trial performances and recommend next steps. Report and analyse footfall and conversion store data. Support reporting on promotional performance. Effective Communication Develop effective communication across all levels of the business, presenting analysis and solutions. Maintain close communication with Retail, Trading and Merchandising. Drive consistency in reporting behaviours. Manages Self and Others Identify process opportunities for improving efficiencies and support system developments and improvements. Coach and support the wider team with new process and deliver best practice. Technical Competencies Numeracy Organisation Systems Communication and presentation/influencing skills Commerciality Knowledge, Skills And Experience Strong Excel skills. Experience of AutoCAD – preferred. Previous experience in an analytical retail, space planning or merchandising role – preferred. Benefits Competitive salary and benefits package.
