Senior Practitioner – Westerton Nursery Puddleducks

Are you a passionate early year's professional with skill for nurturing little minds and hearts? Westerton Nursery Puddleducks is on the lookout for a Senior Practitioner to join our brand-new team where fun meets learning in a safe, nurturing environment for children aged 3years and under

We are looking for a full time 40 hours, Senior Practitioner who will lead by example. You will guide and support the staff team to create magical moments for our little puddle ducks. You will have expertise in safe sleep, healthy eating, allergy training and medication management. You will ensure our nursery is a home from home for our children, staff and families. We are looking for someone who brings joy and creativity to every day promoting a warm atmosphere where children can thrive.

Your responsibilities will be overseeing daily operations within the playroom, ensuring high standards of care and education. You will mentor and support staff. Work together with the team to create experiences that promote and develop wellbeing. You will communicate effectively with parents and guardians building strong partnerships. You will have a chance to make a real impact in the lives of young children and their families.

You will be supported by management in a friendly team environment. You will have opportunities for professional development and training. We offer a competitive salary of £15.50 per hour, and offer two extra staff wellbeing days a year.
