  • To actively develop your technical knowledge, professional judgement and RICS competency framework.
  • To embrace sustainable practices and support the integration of environmental considerations into project work.

How will you be the change?
We believe every role is essential to providing that peace of mind for our customers - whatever part of the business you're in. Because every role plays a part in driving us further. And everyone can be the change. That's how deliver value for our customers, and building systems that lead the way.

And as a Graduate Building Surveyor with Summers-Inman, you'll do it by…

  • Assisting with property inspections, condition surveys, and building fabric assessments.
  • Helping prepare reports, schedules of condition, maintenance plans and defect analyses.
  • Supporting the preparation of technical specifications, tender documentation and drawings.
  • Contributing to the administration of construction contracts, including record keeping and liaison with contractors.
  • Assisting in preparing cost estimates, project programmes and client updates.
  • Maintaining and organising project documentation, data and reporting templates.
  • Liaising with clients, contractors, consultants and internal colleagues to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Supporting team meetings, site visits and progress reporting.
  • Participating in developing and maintaining good working relationships with existing and new clients.
  • Promoting sustainable thinking and helping integrate environmental considerations into projects.
  • Assisting with day-to-day administrative duties including scheduling, filing and project tracking.

What does it take?
If you're ready to be the energy that helps us build our business, share our success, and really own it as a Graduate Building Surveyor, you'll need…
