Role Overview:

Arc are currently expanding their security team and are looking for an individual with MSP experience based in security. The individual should have a grounded knowledge in security principles covering a broad range of tech stack.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Monitor and respond to security alerts, queries and incidents.
    • Assisting other staff and customers with security related queries.
    • Submitting Cyber Essentials renewals on behalf of customers.
    • Assisting with vulnerability management program.
    • Assisting with DMARC project implementation.
    • Implementation of security principles and products at customer sites.
    • Monitoring platforms such as Mimecast mail filtering, awareness training, AV, MS365 security.
    • MS365 Security and Intune deployment project delivery
    • Ad-hoc customer projects

Required Skills & Experience:

    • Must be able to work on own initiative
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and have a passion for Information and Cyber Security
    • Knowledge of Microsoft environments (Windows server, Windows desktops, Office 365, Exchange etc)
    • Working knowledge of MS365 security & compliance centre
    • Working knowledge of networking and security principles (Network+ / Security+ / SSCP certifications a real advantage)
    • Firm understanding of EDR\MDR and vulnerability management tools
    • Experience with Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus audits
    • Experience with Antivirus, Mail gateway solutions – preferably Sentinel One, Sophos and Mimecast
    • Vulnerability scanning and associated remediation
    • Knowledge of security hardening best practices, on premise and cloud.
