Our talented people empower us, and we believe in being part of a team that is open, collaborative, entrepreneurial, passionate and above all fun.About the teamWorldpay from FIS is seeking a Marketing Contractor to join our dynamic marketing team focused on cross selling and retention of our small to corporate sized businesses across the UK and Ireland.In this role, you will work to understand business goals and user needs, then meet or exceed deadline and workload expectations with creative, engaging campaigns to generate revenue growth and lower attrition.The Worldpay team for UK and Ireland is a dynamic and results-oriented group that are focused on driving customer success, growth and payment innovation. Clients vary across many industries and sectors, as well as size and geography.What you will be doingWorldpay is looking to hire a Cross Selling and Retention Marketing Contractor (cover for Maternity) to be responsible for driving revenue growth from our existing client base and reducing attrition. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to understand merchant needs and behaviours to deliver direct, actionable campaigns and communications through multiple channels.Key responsibilities:- Build the cross sales strategy and produce high quality campaigns to sell additional products and value added services to our existing clients. This includes creating content for email and direct marketing messages and digital assets.
- Partner with our Go To Market team to define and segment our clients into audiences enabling targeted cross selling campaigns to increase effectiveness.
- Build and maintain a calendar ensure timely cross selling campaigns are delivered to audiences inline with other business communications.
- Partner with our retention strategy team to execute targeted campaigns to existing clients
- Continuously measure and improve campaign performance; create and analyse reports to test which campaigns and solutions resonate with the audience and drives engagement and commercial benefit.
- Stay up to date with the latest payment industry, small business, and consumer trends to build relevant messaging to support cross selling and attrition campaigns
- Interact with wider teams to ensure consistent message in our communications.
- 3-5 years' experience in marketing; particularly cross selling and retention activities
- Excellent organizational, copywriting and creative design skills
- The ability to write attractive and engaging content to clearly promote the benefits of our value added solutions and services to existing clients
- A collaborative spirit and excellent interpersonal skills
- Determination to thrive in a deadline-driven environment
- A creative mindset
- Easy management of multiple, shifting priorities and short deadlines
- The ability to work closely with a diverse team
- Demonstrated integrity, maturity, and a constructive approach to challenges
