ERP SAP FI/CO Principal & Senior Principal Consultant – Financial Services

Resource On Demand is recruiting on behalf of our client, a global consulting firm and SAP partner, who are expanding their UK Financial Services ERP practice. This is an excellent opportunity for SAP FI/CO experts who enjoy presales, solution architecture and working with major financial institutions across the UK and EU.

The opportunity

  • Excellent salary and package depending on experience and certifications.
  • Remote role with London focus, with regular travel across the UK and EU to work closely with clients.
  • Work on large-scale SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling programmes for global Financial Services clients.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) implementations for Financial Services customers.
  • Run Fit-to-Standard / Fit-Gap and solution design workshops, mapping client needs to SAP best practice.
  • Act as solution architect, defining end‑to‑end FI/CO and related FSCM solutions and templates.
  • Support presales activity including client presentations, demos, estimations and solution shaping.
  • For Senior Principal: lead RFPs, bids and proposals, and act as a key advisor to C‑level stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with onshore, nearshore and offshore delivery teams to ensure high quality implementations.

Skills and experience

  • Strong SAP FI/CO background, including hands‑on S/4HANA Finance; SAP certification is essential.
  • Proven track record in consulting, ideally with large-scale SAP template rollouts in Financial Services.
  • Demonstrable presales experience; Senior Principal must have solid RFP / bids / proposals leadership.
  • Deep understanding of finance and controlling processes and the ability to translate them into SAP solutions.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication and problem‑solving skills.
  • British or EU citizen, happy to travel across the UK and EU as required for client work.
