SAP PP Consultant – Manufacturing & Production Planning
*Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and client-focused
SAP PP Consultant*
to join our consultancy team. You will be responsible for delivering robust SAP Production Planning solutions to clients across manufacturing and industrial sectors. This role requires deep functional expertise in SAP PP, strong process knowledge, and the ability to work collaboratively in fast-paced project environments.

*Key Responsibilities*

  • Lead or support SAP PP implementations, upgrades, and enhancements
  • Analyse client requirements and design SAP solutions for production planning and manufacturing processes
  • Configure SAP PP modules including demand management, MRP, capacity planning, shop floor control, and integration with MM, SD, and QM
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including logistics, finance, and plant operations
  • Provide expert guidance on production strategies, planning cycles, and process optimization
  • Conduct workshops, training sessions, and post-go-live support
  • Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with technical teams for developments
  • Ensure timely delivery of project milestones and client satisfaction

*Required Skills & Experience*

  • Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in SAP PP module
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production planning cycles
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA is highly desirable
  • Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver solutions in a consultancy setting
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Experience in full project lifecycle: blueprinting, configuration, testing, go-live, and support
  • Familiarity with integration points between PP and other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, QM, PM)

*Preferred Qualifications*

  • SAP PP certification
  • Experience in discrete or process manufacturing industries
  • Exposure to international or multi-plant environments
  • Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, IT, or related field
