Full Time Accountant - Fashion Brand

London, Office Based

Salary c £40,000 per annum

On behalf of a high luxury fashion brand, we are exclusively seeking an experienced and meticulous Full Time Accountant. This is a hands-on opportunity to take full ownership of the finance function and manage all bookkeeping responsibilities. For a candidate demonstrating a minimum of five years' professional experience and a commitment to impeccable financial precision, our client offers a highly competitive salary of circa £40,000.

The Role:

  • Full Payroll Management, including processing, HMRC compliance, and liaising with external providers.
  • Manage all Accounts Payable (Bought Ledger) and employee expense processing.
  • Control Accounts Receivable (Sales Ledger), covering invoicing and proactive credit control, including debit collection.
  • Perform all Bank and Control Account Reconciliations (weekly and monthly).
  • Prepare key Financial Reports, including cash-flow and draft management accounts.
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of all accounts software systems.
  • Manage and process Statutory Tax Payments (VAT and Corporation Tax).
  • Coordinate Year-End Procedures and liaise directly with Company Auditors.

About You:

  • Proven experience of payroll processing and accounts functions / tasks.
  • Min 5 years' experience in an accounts function.
  • Knowledge of modern efficient accounting software.
  • Highly accurate data processor.
  • Excellent time management, communication and organisation skills.
  • Ability to resolve issues quickly and adapt in a fast-moving environment.
  • Fashion business knowledge desirable but not essential.
