We are a private nursery that opened just over a year ago, with two additional settings located in Ashford and Sittingbourne. In this short time, we have created something truly special: a warm, friendly and supportive team that feels like family.

As our nursery continues to grow, we are now looking for an experienced and passionate Level 3 Baby Room Leader who shares our values of kindness, understanding, teamwork and exceptional childcare.

Your Role

As our Baby Room Leader, you will:

  • Lead the day to day running of the baby room with confidence, care and professionalism
  • Provide high quality, nurturing care for babies aged 0–2
  • Create and deliver engaging, sensory-rich and developmentally appropriate activities
  • Ensure routines (meals, naps, bottles, comfort) are responsive, consistent and individually tailored
  • Build warm, positive relationships with families, offering reassurance, communication and trust
  • Observe, assess and record each child's development, supporting next steps
  • Support and guide room staff, encouraging strong teamwork and positive practice
  • Maintain a safe, calm and hygienic environment that promotes emotional security
  • Uphold excellent safeguarding, organisation and health & safety standards
  • Bring your ideas, creativity and leadership to help shape the future of our baby room

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Level 3 qualified in Early Years (essential)
  • Experienced and confident in caring for babies aged 0–2
  • Warm, nurturing and genuinely passionate about early development
  • Comfortable leading a small team or ready to take the next step into leadership
  • Strong in communication, organisation and relationship building with parents, children and staff.
  • Knowledgeable in the EYFS and committed to excellent safeguarding practice
  • Reliable, enthusiastic and committed to providing the very best start for every child
