Head of Sales - BDC Aluminium

We are searching for a strategic and resilient Head of Sales to join our growing aluminium fenestration business based in Witham, Essex. BDC Aluminium is part of the wider Rocal Group, with a compelling history of success within our sector.

The Head of Sales will be responsible for driving business growth through effective sales strategy, customer engagement, and alignment with marketing initiatives. You will focus on developing and maintaining a strong sales pipeline, enhancing customer relationships, and ensuring the business remains competitive through strategic pricing, product offerings, and service delivery.

Whilst this is a role with national coverage, our core customer base is centred around the South East of England, therefore you will ideally be based within reasonable commute of our office in Essex.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with existing customers to understand requirements and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Review and optimise the CRM system to ensure data accuracy, reporting capability, and clear customer insights.
  • Assess and improve the customer onboarding process to maximise conversion of new opportunities.
  • Evaluate product offerings and specifications to ensure a competitive and attractive portfolio.
  • Review and maintain competitive pricing models while safeguarding agreed margins.
  • Analyse service levels and work collaboratively with Rocal/BDC teams to agree and implement improvements.
  • Provide clarity and transparency in sales pipeline management and future forecasting.
  • Deliver a segmented sales strategy (commercial and trade) within 3 months of appointment.
  • Develop and manage a new business pipeline to support long-term growth.
  • Contribute commercial and sales expertise to the Business Growth team in support of the wider group strategy.
  • Collaborate with marketing to identify and implement strategies that support business growth.
  • Review and approve marketing collateral to ensure it is relevant and aligned with customer needs.
