Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and driven Chef de partie to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in a restaurant environment. Responsibilities

  • Prepare ingredients and cook dishes according to specified recipes and standards
  • Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area at all times
  • Follow food safety regulations and uphold hygiene standards in accordance with health and safety policies
  • Assist with meal presentation to ensure visual appeal of each dish
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
  • Restock ingredients and supplies as needed to ensure efficient workflow
  • Monitor cooking times and temperatures to guarantee quality and consistency

Experience

  • Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a restaurant or catering environment
  • Knowledge of culinary techniques and meal preparation methods
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and hygiene practices
  • Previous kitchen experience, including working under pressure in busy settings, is highly desirable
  • Experience serving customers or working in hospitality is advantageous but not essential
