Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Chef de Partie to join our dynamic kitchen team with an interest in street food. As a CDP, you will play a vital role in supporting the kitchen team by assisting with food preparation and production. This position is ideal for individuals looking to develop their culinary skills in a fast-paced restaurant and events environment while contributing to the overall success of our hospitality operations.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and cooking of various street food & banqueting dishes, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Support senior chefs in daily kitchen operations, including mise en place and maintaining cleanliness.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and timely service.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food production techniques.
  • Maintain a positive attitude while working under pressure during busy service periods and events.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food production or preparation within a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential.
  • A keen interest in street food and a willingness to learn from experienced chefs.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent teamwork abilities, demonstrating leadership potential and willingness to grow within the role.
  • A commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety practices.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
