Join Our Team at DUSK – Assistant Merchandiser

Are you highly organised, detail-driven, and passionate about retail? At DUSK, we're looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Assistant Merchandiser to support our fast-paced merchandising team.

Your role:

  • Use data to optimise the sales volume and profitability of your product areas
  • Support the planning of budgets by category, option count, and depth of buy, based on the overall business and financial goals of the company.
  • Analyse and monitor sellers, using this information to make informed trade actions on a weekly basis.
  • Recommend promotional activity, re-buys and range extensions where necessary, using relevant data to make these decisions.
  • Control stock levels based on weekly sales and stock intakes (using the WSSI).
  • Monitor Supplier critical paths closely, flagging any delays to the team and be proactive in suggestion solutions to maintain on time deliveries.
  • Recommend any promotions and re-buys where necessary, using relevant data to make these decisions.
  • Monitor and maintain the buying and gross profit margins as requested.
  • Support the Merchandising Admin Assistant with any administrative tasks and develop their skill set where needed.
  • Provide ad-hoc information to the wider product team to support trading and planning decisions.
  • Work collaboratively with the warehouse team to manage intake capacity & priorities
  • Work closely with the customer service team to ensure they have the most up to date information on intake.

About you:

  • Experienced working as a Merchandising Admin Assistant or Assistant Merchandiser
  • Highly motivated and a problem solver.
  • Analytical skills
  • Work at pace and analyse a high volume of data efficiently.
  • Experienced in Excel, comfortable with lookups & pivot tables.
  • Ability to look into the detail as well as the bigger picture, especially by working collaboratively as a team and being a team player at all costs.
  • You're a relationship builder and find communication across various level of seniority easy to adapt.
