I am looking for an experienced FOH team manager to lead our FOH team in our busy shop/cafe 25-30 hours per week (flexible). I am not looking to hire students, and any applications from students will be dismissed. You must be willing to work a couple of Saturdays per month.

You must have experience of managing people in a busy shop/cafe setting. Duties include managing 3 FOH staff and making sure they are performing all tasks to the desired quality and comply with food hygiene, cleanliness, and health and safety. You will also be responsible for stock control and rotation and minimizing shop waste. Your work will be split between management and also working in the shop—serving, working as a barista, making up sandwiches to order, etc. Additional time will be given to ensure you can both work on as well as manage the FOH. You must be a good team player and be proactive. You must have at least 2 years of managerial experience and experience of making and serving hot and cold sandwiches, making hot drinks/barista work, handling money/using a till, and cleaning. Working knowledge of food hygiene with a Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate. Being able to use a laptop (WORD etc) is an advantage.

25 days holiday per year (pro-rata) plus bank holidays. Some Saturday work is required (2 Saturdays a month).
