Role Summary And Objectives:

My Client is an education specialist recruitment business in need of a confident and experienced education Candidate Resourcer. You will be working in partnership with our Liverpool Branch to build and maintain a candidate pipeline for 3 experienced consultants. This will involve attracting candidates by drafting advertising copy for use in a wide range of media, as well as by networking, headhunting and through referrals.

After which, screening candidates, interviewing them, doing background checks will also be a requirement before they are put forward for positions by their Consultant.

Maintaining a healthy candidate pool involves regularly contacting candidates and providing advice to candidates on salary levels, training requirements and career opportunities.

  • Generate new candidates through advertising
  • Generate new candidates through managing the database
  • Screening candidates and matching them to suitable job roles
  • Contacting candidates to arrange interviews through various means and social media
  • Administration related to the vetting procedure
  • Deal with general queries relating to contracts and pay

Tasks Expected:

  • Building a candidate pipeline - attraction, selection and conversion
  • Obtaining candidate's weekly availability
  • Creating bookings on the in-house recruitment software
  • Formatting CV's
  • Sourcing candidates through various channels
  • Supporting experienced consultants in filling bookings, as required
  • Conducting candidate interviews on and offsite
  • Gaining references
  • Gaining market knowledge

Liaising With:

Management team, marketing, compliance, payroll, HR and operations, accounts, clients, candidates and external parties connected or relating to the company business

Expectations:

You will need to be self-motivated and work proactively on targeted candidate projects to ensure a continuous healthy pipeline for the business. Able to work on a variety of tasks which require you to work in a fluid and fast paced sales environment, achieving both targets and objectives set.

Key Skills & Competency Requirements:

Working through a structured day: You will work within the structure of a daily process. This form of working practise allows both you and your team to see things that are working for you and also to highlight where there may be areas for improvement and development.

Self Motivation:

You are expected to show self motivation as a Resourcer. Whilst the sales team will support and encourage you it is essential that you have an abundance of self-motivation in order to achieve success.

Urgency/Prioritising:

Showing an understanding of urgency is an essential part of a recruitment consultant's role and this will need to be mirrored in the Resourcer role. Knowing what to prioritise and when, is the main ingredient of a good Resourcer.

Successful Interviewing:

Confidently interviewing candidates. Making sure you are positive and interested, along with using open questions to probe the candidate. You need to gain a thorough understanding of a candidate's background, strengths, weaknesses and career gaps. Understanding the candidate's desires and commitments whilst informing them of what they can expect from you. Candidates must also be made aware of what is expected of them.

Professionalism:

You must be professional at all times with clients, candidates, colleagues and peers.

To Be Successful:

You will need to have a proven track record of being hard-working with a strong administration background as well as the ability to meet targets and prioritise your time efficiently.
