Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Freight Sales and Marketing professional based in the Manchester Area, United Kingdom, with some work-from-home flexibility. The role involves identifying and acquiring new clients, managing existing customer relationships, developing transport and logistics sales strategies, and providing excellent customer service. The individual will also develop and present sales proposals, negotiate contracts, track market trends, and drive customer-focused campaigns to achieve business growth.

Qualifications

  • Strong Communication and Customer Service skills for building client relationships and handling inquiries effectively
  • Proficiency in Sales Strategy Development and Sales Management for identifying opportunities, negotiating agreements, and achieving growth targets
  • Experience in Training and guiding team members to enhance performance and achieve sales objectives
  • Proven track record of effective client engagement, sales or account management experience, preferably in the freight industry
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time-management abilities
  • Knowledge of the transport, freight, or logistics industry is an advantage
  • Proficiency in relevant CRM and sales tools or software is preferred
