Apointe are working exclusively with a well-established, people-focused business going through an exciting phase of growth and transformation. They're investing in their systems, processes, and people. As a result of this they are hiring for a new created Accounts Payable Supervisor to help be part of the journey.
Reporting into the AP Manager, you'll oversee a team of three, managing the full end-to-end Accounts Payable process and ensuring things run smoothly day to day. Beyond that, you'll play an important role in shaping how the team evolves, with a new finance system implementation on the horizon, it's a brilliant opportunity to add real value and make your mark.
What you'll be doing:
- Leading and supporting a team of three within the Accounts Payable function.
- Overseeing full-cycle AP including invoice processing, supplier payments, and reconciliations.
- Acting as the first point of escalation for queries and process improvements.
- Supporting upcoming system and process changes, helping deliver a more efficient and modern AP operation.
- Building strong relationships across finance and the wider business.
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience in an Accounts Payable
- Strong understanding of end-to-end AP processes and controls.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Systems-savvy, ideally with experience of process or system change.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with a focus on accuracy and improvement.
