**We’re seeking an Accounts Assistant for an Exciting Opportunity**
**About Us**:
MANNOL UK has become a driving force in the UK and Ireland’s automotive industry, supplying high quality engine oils and lubricants and a wide range of other products.
Since launching in Milton Keynes in 2019, MANNOL UK, has quickly become a force to be reckoned with. The company is a market leader in the distribution of transmission, gear and industrial oils, operating fluids such as antifreeze, coolants, brake fluids, hydraulic fluids, greases, and sealants and also supplies fuel, oil, and coolant system additives, some of which use advanced ester-based technology.
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage and oversee all day-to-day accounting operations on behalf of the company including customer invoicing, accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Support and manage finance staff to ensure that they are appropriately motivated and developed and so that they carry out their responsibilities to the required standard.
- Prepare and publish timely detailed reports on financial performance, balance sheet and cash flow statements and any required supporting analysis
- Oversee the preparation of the company’s annual financial statements to ensure that these are presented accurately and on time.
- Develop and maintain all necessary systems, policies and procedures to ensure effective and efficient financial management within the company (including overseeing the company’s system).
- Monitor external contracts and services provided by suppliers to ensure that these are operating effectively and provide the best value to the company.
- Carry out all necessary actions to ensure that the company complies with all statutory legal and financial regulations including managing all statutory filings with Companies House. Assume lead responsibility for all financial related third-party relationships including audit, banking and insurance relationships.
- Support the Managing Director on all financial elements
- Regularly assess the performance of the finance departmental structure and plan for the continual improvement of the efficiency of the company.
- Perform such other accounting, financial, or administrative tasks as may be required from time to time, sometimes at short notice, by the CEO or GM.
**What we are looking for**:
- Excellent knowledge of Excel
- Excellent knowledge if Xero
- Excellent communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent problem-solving skill.
- Must be an enthusiastic, committed individual.
- Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to work using own initiative and within a team.
