Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and safety, and leading the kitchen staff. This position requires a strong background in food production and preparation, along with excellent leadership skills to foster a collaborative and efficient kitchen environment.

Duties

  • Assist the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations, including food preparation and cooking.
  • Supervise kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to recipes and presentation standards.
  • Manage food production processes to maintain quality and consistency.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in culinary techniques and best practices.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef on menu planning and development.
  • Maintain inventory levels of food supplies and assist in ordering as needed.
  • Monitor kitchen equipment for proper functioning and report any issues promptly.
