What's This Job About?

We're seeking an Investigator to join our team. This critical role focuses on conducting in-depth research on companies and individuals worldwide to uncover legal, regulatory, and reputational risks. As an Investigator, you will collaborate closely with case managers and leadership across various practice groups, including Executive Due Diligence, Dispute Resolution, and Transaction Diligence. Through your meticulous attention to detail, you will deliver accurate, actionable intelligence that strengthens the Mintz Group's reputation for excellence and supports our strategic goals.

What are Your Key Responsibilities?

1. Conduct Comprehensive Investigations:

   1. Perform database searches and analyze legal, corporate, and public records.

   2. Synthesize large volumes of information into clear and concise reports for clients.

2. Participate in Training and Mentorship Programs:

   1. Attend ongoing training sessions to enhance investigative skills.

   2. Collaborate with team members and participate in knowledge-sharing initiatives.

3. Optimize Investigative Processes:

   1. Identify opportunities to improve research efficiency and investigative methodologies.

   2. Apply critical thinking and pattern recognition to enhance overall case outcomes.

   3. Ensure accuracy and thoroughness in all deliverables by adhering to firm guidelines and conducting exhaustive reviews. Leave no detail unchecked to guarantee the work is comprehensive and meets the highest standards.

What Makes You a Great Fit:

1. Experience: Relevant internship, academic, or entry-level work experience in research, journalism, law, or finance, demonstrating a foundational understanding of investigative processes and synthesizing findings.

2. Research Skills: Basic research proficiency, with an eagerness to learn and apply investigative techniques to deliver insightful outcomes.

3. Writing Skills: Ability to draft clear and concise reports with support and guidance, tailored to client needs.

4. Attention to Detail: Demonstrated ability to produce accurate, high-quality work through academic projects or limited professional experience, with a focus on following guidelines and conducting thorough reviews.

5. Analytical Thinking: Emerging ability to analyze complex information, identify patterns, and draw actionable conclusions with mentorship and training.

6. Tech Savvy: Basic familiarity with common tools and platforms, with a willingness and capacity to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.

7. Global Perspective: Multilingual skills are a plus but not required, reflecting interest in or experience with diverse cultural contexts.

8. Educational Background: A bachelor's degree is required. Recent graduates with relevant coursework or capstone projects are encouraged to apply.

9. Adaptability: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and adjust to changing priorities, demonstrated through academic or early work experiences.

10. Languages: We are seeking candidates with a proficiency in Arabic, Spanish, French, Russian, Scandinavian and Hebrew.
