About the Role

Daleacre Healthcare Ltd is seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmacist Branch Manager to join our Kirk Hallam branch on a job share basis, working Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

This position offers an excellent opportunity to manage and develop a busy community pharmacy within a supportive and well-established healthcare organisation. You will work collaboratively with another Pharmacist Manager, with an overlap on Wednesdays to ensure continuity of service, before managing the branch independently on Thursdays and Fridays.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of the pharmacy, including dispensary, retail, staff, and professional services.
  • Deliver a courteous, confidential, and professional service to all customers.
  • Ensure all legal, ethical, and contractual obligations are met.
  • Lead and promote NHS and private pharmacy services, including hypertension case finding, vaccination services, contraception service, Pharmacy First, and the New Medicine Service.
  • Maximise efficiency, profitability, and the quality of patient care.
  • Support and develop the pharmacy team through effective leadership, training, and communication.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with patients, local GPs, and the wider community.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Master of Pharmacy (MPharm) or equivalent degree.
  • GPhC registration as a Pharmacist (essential).
  • Proven managerial experience within community pharmacy.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
  • Commitment to providing the highest standards of professional and patient care.

Working Pattern

  • Part-Time (Job Share): Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
  • Shared management responsibilities with overlap on Wednesdays.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £23.30-£27.58 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 24 per week
