Lomond Mortgages are looking to grow our team of Mortgage & Protection advisers in the Altrincham area and are seeking driven individuals who are looking to build a career in the Mortgage and Protection field.

We work with Mortgage Advice Bureau (MAB) which is one of the UK's largest multi-award-winning brokers with leading estate agents in over 900 offices nationwide.

Job Role:

  • Relationship building with customers
  • Assisting brokers with mortgage research, decision in principles and mortgage applications
  • Assisting brokers with protection research, medical questionnaires and applications
  • Help deal with client referrals coming in from our linked estate agency branches
  • Manage and action daily tasks and emails
  • Ensure files are compliant
  • Help ensure cases complete in a timely fashion
  • Working as our client bank broker to ensure our existing clients are always on the best products available

Role Requirements:

  • Must hold full CeMap qualification
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to work in a structured/planned manner
  • Prior experience as a mortgage administrator is useful but not required, you will start your journey with us by getting a good insight into our business; how we work, what our culture is and how we deal with our clients as well as further training from MAB

Job specifics:

  • Job type - Full time permanent
  • Typical working hours - Monday to Friday, 9am-5:30pm with the flexibility to manage your own diary to cater for clients that need later appointments or weekends
  • Place of work – Altrincham (with potential to go into one of our other branches in the future)
  • Pay - £25,000 - £28,000 basic (to be negotiated depending on prior experience) with uncapped bonus scheme on top
