As our practice continues to grow, we are looking for a highly organised and proactive Practice Secretary/Administrator to join us.
The Role
This is a key administrative position supporting the smooth and efficient running of the practice. You will be the first point of contact for patients, visitors, and external partners, ensuring all enquiries are handled promptly and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the practice team
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and patient enquiries with a calm and friendly approach
- Prepare, process, and file confidential documents accurately
- Maintain appointment schedules and assist with diary management
- Coordinate correspondence, referrals, and reports
- Ensure records and systems are kept up to date
- Support the day-to-day administrative functions essential to the practice's operations
About You
We are looking for someone who is organised, reliable, and confident working in a fast-paced professional environment. You will bring:
- Strong administrative or secretarial experience (ideally in a healthcare, dental, or professional office setting)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- A warm, professional manner with patients and colleagues alike
- Strong IT skills, including confident use of Microsoft Office and practice software (training can be provided)
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work independently as well as part of a team
