Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. As a member of our bar team, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our guests while creating a welcoming atmosphere. Your primary responsibility will be to prepare and serve drinks, ensuring that all customers have an enjoyable experience.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with established recipes and standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and responding to inquiries or requests promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies.
  • Assist in managing inventory levels, including ordering supplies as needed.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and smooth operations during busy periods.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, utilising basic maths skills for processing payments.
  • Support the overall hospitality experience by helping colleagues as needed during peak times.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in bartending or a similar role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and managing tabs effectively.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous; commitment to maintaining high hygiene standards is essential.
  • A passion for hospitality and providing exceptional customer service is crucial for success in this role.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by the business needs.

Pay: £12.24-£12.64 per hour
