Job Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Bar Staff. This role involves providing excellent service in a hospitality environment, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience. The ideal candidate will possess a friendly demeanour, good organisational skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional service. Previous experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided.

Responsibilities

  • Serve drinks and food to customers in a professional and courteous manner
  • Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring prompt delivery
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area at all times
  • Check identification to verify legal drinking age
  • Handle cash and card transactions accurately using the POS system
  • Restock bar supplies and ingredients as needed throughout shifts
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
  • Assist in setting up and clearing tables or seating areas as required
  • Provide friendly advice on drink selections and promote special offers when appropriate

Requirements

  • Previous experience in hospitality, food safety, or serving roles is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Strong organisational skills with good time management abilities
  • Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing stock levels
  • Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable manner
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From £12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 6 – 16 per week
