Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Bar Staff. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a lively hospitality environment, providing excellent service to our patrons. Successful candidates will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, serving drinks, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. This paid position is ideal for those passionate about hospitality and eager to develop their skills within a dynamic team.

Responsibilities

  • Serve a variety of beverages to customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring prompt delivery
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area at all times
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and licensing regulations
  • Handle cash and process payments accurately using the POS system
  • Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service throughout shifts
  • Assist in setting up and closing down the bar at the beginning and end of each shift
  • Engage with customers to create a positive atmosphere and promote repeat business

Skills

  • Proven experience in hospitality or food service environments is desirable
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and licensing regulations
  • Excellent serving skills with a friendly, approachable manner
  • Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills
  • Good time management to ensure timely service during busy periods
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Personal presentation that reflects professionalism and hospitality standards

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £12.21-£13.21 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
