Merchandise Manager

Midlands - Nottingham and Derby.

Full Time

Up to £35,000 per annum

National Merchandise manage merchandise concessions for both one-off and multi-date events and merchandise sales at live indoor and outdoor events around the UK and Ireland.

We work in some of the biggest arenas in the UK and Ireland, including the Motorpoint Arena Nottingham, Glasgow OVO Hydro Arena, The O2 Arena in London, Wembley Arena in London, Liverpool's M&S Bank Arena, Dublin's 3 Arena, Avicii Arena Stockholm and Co-op Live in Manchester.

Working in a world leading venues, in the Midlands you will support the team selling merchandise for sports, music and comedy events, the likes of Tom Grennan, Lewis Capaldi and Peter Kay to name a few.

We are looking for an Merchandise Manager to join our established team in the Midlands. Based at the Nottingham Motorpoint Arena, The Royal Concert Hall and Theatre Royal Nottingham and Derby Arena, but may be required to work in others such as Wolverhampton and Birmingham.

Supporting the management team in setting and measuring department performance and targets in all areas you will prepare and manage budgets, both income and expenditure, ensuring the appropriate monitoring, evaluation and preparation of reports. Ensuring the accurate pricing of all merchandise to achieve optimal sales growth.

Working with our team of casual (zero hours) staff you will ensure that daily and weekly rotas are managed to ensure adequate cover for the requirements of the team. Ensuring that accurate payroll information is provided to our HR team in line with their deadlines.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working within a merchandise or retail environment. Previous management experience is essential.

They will have excellent communication skills, both written and oral. With strong financial skills and acumen they will have previous experience of managing budgets and stock control.

They will have the ability to work flexibly in line with the needs of our business, which will include late nights, weekend and bank holiday working.

A full driving licence is essential for this role.
