Responsible for the leadership and management of UK facilities and associated support services, covering the Head Office & Distribution Centre, and Satellite Office. Also Included is direct line management of the Team Leader and oversight of key operational contracts such as catering, cleaning, and security. The role also encompasses responsibility for the UK Security Officer function, Fleet Manager, and Health and Safety line management, ensuring all services and operations are delivered to a high standard, aligned with business objectives, and fully compliant with health, safety, and regulatory requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the day to day functioning of Teva UK facilities reporting to the Director Supply Chain, Distribution
- Management of the facilities team
- Business owner of BMS and Hexagon and any other site related engineering systems
- To ensure that the MFC (Material Flow Control) plant and building are maintained efficiently and effectively, giving speedy resolution of downtime
- Account responsibility and management of Catering, Cleaning and Security contracts and personnel
- Overall responsibility for contractor management
- Ensure all relevant compliances with current legislation
- Manage and maintain Health and Safety for Teva UK
- Ensure Safe Working Procedures (SWP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) are in place and adhered to
- Available for call out in the event of a failure
- Operational management of Teva UK car fleet
- To be a Teva UK Security Officer
- Treat all information as confidential to the organisation
- Carry out any other duties requested by the Director Supply Chain, Distribution.
- Hands on in covering shifts where necessary in the event of holidays and sickness
- Served a recognised electrical apprenticeship
- 18th edition qualified "minimum requirement"
- Sound knowledge of The Electricity at Work Regulations, HASAWA & PUWER
- At least 10 years electrical and electronic experience in site related work
- NEBOSH General Certificate
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a Management role.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience of working in a PLC environment
- Minimum 5 years experience of building facility management hard and soft services
- Able to work unsupervised
- Training and negotiation skills
- Security Training
- Computer literate
