Multi Drop Delivery Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and efficient Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting coffins to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires strong driving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
The position involves an overnight stays to accommodate delivery schedules and ensure prompt service to all regions. Accommodation and expenses for overnight stays will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and records of goods transported.
- Communicate with dispatch regarding any delays or issues encountered during deliveries.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns from clients during delivery.
- Assist in warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organisation of goods.
Skills
- Previous experience as a delivery driver is highly desirable.
- Held a full Valid UK driver's licence for more than 5 years. (clean driving record; experience driving a commercial vehicle is a plus)
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during loading and unloading of goods.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations is advantageous.
