Job Description
We are seeking an experienced change management leader to join our People Transformation team. The role holder will work closely with the Head of People Transformation to shape the planning and execution of a new programme that is using technology modernisation as a catalyst to elevate the colleague experience. You will play a key role in ensuring that the strategic initiatives land successfully and contribute tangibly towards Heathrow's organisational priorities.
You'll lead the change management activity of the transformation, guiding teams and stakeholders through the programme with a strong focus on adoption and colleague engagement. Working closely with senior leaders, People Business Partners, and projects teams, you will use your expertise to design and implement effective change strategies. This role will draw on your ability to build strong relationships, create clarity from complexity, and inspire others to embrace change.
Your role will involve
- Leading on change management within People Transformation, ensuring successful adoption and sustainability of new ways of working
- Overseeing impact assessments and change readiness analyses to inform planning and stakeholder engagement
- Designing and delivering change interventions, including communications, training, and engagement activities
- Collaborating with the Transformation Team, People Business Partners, and colleagues across the business to integrate change management into project delivery
- Monitoring and evaluate change effectiveness, using data and feedback to adjust plans and improve outcomes and using this information (along with best practise) to support continuous improvement
These Skills Are Essential
- Proven experience in leading change management for large-scale transformation programmes, including designing and delivering change interventions. This must include a strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to inform decisions
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Coaching and facilitation skills to build change capability and support leaders
- Knowledge of People processes and systems within a complex organisational context

Working Location
Our Hybrid working approach offers the opportunity for colleagues in some roles to work from home for an average of two days a week, providing the flexibility to work in an agile way whilst ensuring we deliver for the operational needs of Heathrow . Working arrangements vary from team to team and will be confirmed during the recruitment process. You'll need to be based in the UK and within a commutable distance to Heathrow.
