It will be an excellent opportunity to learn about category management within the consumer electronics sector. You will be working very closely with the Lenovo category managers across the consumer products, which include Windows PC (laptops and desktops), Gaming PCs and handhelds, Chromebooks, Visuals, Android Tablets and Accessories. Working in the category team will give you an almost 360-view of the business as you will be working alongside many of the other business areas including sales, marketing, supply chain, operations and finance.

Position Description

  • Support the category managers to create and maintain business plans through effective reporting and sharing insights.
  • Gain extensive product knowledge across Lenovos consumer product portfolio
  • Identify trends in weekly/monthly market and heat map data.
  • Be the main point of contact for product display and execution at internal and external events.
  • Support the 4P team in managing the promotional calendar.
  • Work with the wider consumer team to drive results and display Lenovo performance figures through internal dashboards and PowerBI.
  • Have an active role in weekly wider team meetings through data preparation and sharing both intuitive and reasoned suggestions.

Position Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a university program and on track to achieve at least a 2:1 degree classification (or local equivalent).
  • Completion of a mandatory internship or placement year as part of your academic program.
  • Prior experience in a professional or volunteer setting (paid or unpaid).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., SAP, Microsoft D365).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional European languages are a plus.
  • Positive, adaptable, and collaborative mindset with a proactive approach to learning.

The successful candidate will join a high performing team. You will gain great experience of how the Lenovo Consumer business operates whilst gaining a clear understanding of how other departments operate. It will be a busy, full-on schedule, but your role will be contributing significantly to the success of this business unit and will give you an excellent start to your career.
