About The Role
As the
Administrator
you'll be helping to ensure the smooth and efficient running of a busy engineering department by co-ordinating the planned maintenance schedule, updating and validating documentation and ensuring audit readiness.
- Co-ordinating and maintaining the planned maintenance system.
- Raising and progressing of purchase orders including goods receipting.
- Assisting with an internal audit plan.
- Updating and maintaining engineering and H&S documentation.
- Providing cover for Machine Minder duties, i.e tool maintenance and blade checking, when needed.
What You'll Need To Be Successful
- Strong communication skills with colleagues of all levels.
- Attention to detail and a flexible attitude to tasks.
- A good level of maths and English.
- An understanding of Microsoft Office, including Excel, to an intermediate level.
- Previous experience in an Engineering Administration role would be beneficial.
