About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing and forward-thinking organisation with a dynamic Legal & Compliance team at the heart of its success.

Reporting to the Global Head of Compliance, this position plays a key role in ensuring the department meets its objectives and continues to provide high-quality support to the wider business.

This is a generalist role that involves managing and supporting projects across the global compliance programme. The role will entail meticulous management and coordination of both large, complex initiatives and specific, discrete tasks. This role will help foster a culture of ethical conduct, transparency and accountability across all global business operations.

Responsibilities

  • Support the design, implementation and improvement of the company's global compliance program, including policies and procedures, training and education, risk assessments, audits, monitoring.
  • Supporting the due diligence, onboarding, compliance certification, compliance training and monitoring of third party distributors and agents.
  • Assist in investigating, documenting and summarising compliance concerns raised by employees.
  • Partner with the company's global legal team on compliance matters as they arise.
  • Track and manage external spend on compliance initiatives with law firms, service providers, and software vendors.
  • Evaluate, implement and manage compliance technology solutions in areas that include third party relationships (e.g. distributors), engagements with industry professionals, and transparency reporting obligations.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure the compliance program designs and implements processes and procedures to achieve compliance objectives.
  • Analyse compliance data to identify trends, risks and opportunities, and preparing reports for leadership to aid in decision-making.
  • Oversee compliance projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget, and aligning them with the organisation's strategic goals.
  • Administrative support for the company's Compliance Committee, including the preparation of agendas, presentations and meeting minutes.
  • Identify compliance learning activities for the global legal and compliance team; stay abreast of compliance developments, enforcement activity, trends and lessons learned across the global life sciences industry.

About You

  • We are looking for a compliance professional with prior experience with and understanding of global compliance and antibribery/anti-corruptions laws worldwide and industry codes.
  • Desirable: if you have experience in the life sciences, that would beneficial but is not strictly required.
  • Desirable: Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP) a plus.
