The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Innovation Grant Writer to join our dynamic team. As a Grant Writer, you will play a crucial role in our consultancy, working closely with clients to secure grant funding for their innovative projects. This role requires a talented and driven individual who can leverage their

expertise to craft compelling grant proposals and applications.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Work closely with our clients to understand their unique project and business goals,
  • requirements and funding needs.
  • Lead, prepare and write high quality grant applications, ensuring they meet all submission requirements and deadlines.
  • Ensure that all grant applications adhere to guidelines set by the funding body and are eligible.
  • Monitor the progress of applications and support clients with their longer-term grant funding strategies.
  • Collaborate with our team to share knowledge, best practices and contribute to our overall success.

Skills and Experience

  • Proven innovation grant writing experience, with a track record of successful funding secured from Innovate UK, and preferably other funding bodies as well.
  • Ability to work independently, lead multiple projects and meet deadline.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas succinctly and persuasively.
  • Adept at conducting thorough research to identify relevant funding opportunities
  • Strong organisational skills and an eagle eye for detail to manage multiple proposals and deadlines.
  • Collaborative spirit and the ability to work seamlessly within a diverse team
  • Knowledge of various industries and sectors to cater to a diverse clientele.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant area (technical/MBA) is preferred.
