Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Floor Manager to oversee daily operations in our vibrant establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing staff and operations in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

  • Supervise daily floor operations, ensuring smooth service and guest satisfaction.
  • Manage and train staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Oversee food preparation and production processes, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
  • Assist in cooking and serving when necessary, demonstrating culinary skills as needed.
  • Maintain inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies to ensure the kitchen runs efficiently.
  • Implement training programmes for new employees focusing on hospitality, food safety, and service excellence.
  • Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, resolving issues promptly to enhance customer experience.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely food production and quality control.
  • Monitor staff performance, providing feedback and conducting evaluations to support career development.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Experience in food preparation, cooking, and culinary practices is essential.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production.
  • Previous experience in kitchen management or barista roles is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
