Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests enjoy their meals and have a memorable dining experience.

Duties

  • Greet and welcome guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable.
  • Take food and drink orders accurately, providing recommendations and upselling menu items when appropriate.
  • Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner, adhering to food safety standards throughout the process.
  • Ensure that tables are set up correctly before service and cleaned promptly after guests depart.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication regarding orders and special requests.
  • Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, striving to resolve any issues efficiently.
  • Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to assist guests effectively.
  • Perform basic math calculations for order totals and manage cash handling responsibly.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred, with an understanding of guest services.
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices is essential.
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members.
  • Basic culinary knowledge or kitchen experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to work well under pressure are crucial for success in this role.

Job Type: Temporary
