Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time FOH Server to join our dynamic team at MANS Market in providing exceptional dining experiences.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong sense of hospitality and a passion for guest services, ensuring that every patron feels welcomed and valued. As a FOH Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality food and drink service while maintaining a clean and organised environment.

Duties

  • Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and offering assistance with menu selections.
  • Take accurate food and drink orders, ensuring all requests are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff.
  • Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, adhering to food safety standards throughout the process.
  • Maintain knowledge of the menu, including ingredients and preparation methods, to answer any guest inquiries effectively.
  • Monitor tables for guest satisfaction, responding promptly to any needs or concerns.
  • Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring that all items meet quality standards before serving.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods.
  • Uphold cleanliness standards in both the dining area and kitchen, including proper handling of utensils and equipment.
  • Process payments accurately and efficiently while maintaining a positive interaction with guests.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a restaurant is essential.
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours.
  • Basic maths skills for handling transactions and processing payments.
  • Understanding of food safety regulations and culinary practices is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest services to enhance the dining experience.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure.
  • A team player who is willing to help colleagues as needed to ensure overall success of service.
