Job Description

GROUNDWORK QUANTITY SURVEYOR

An opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor has arisen within a residential groundworks leading contractor who have over 30 years experience in the industry. They have recently won several new projects within the residential sector and are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to continue to help towards their successful growth.

Our client is based in Cambridge and have completed projects based in Suffolk, Bedfordshire & Northamptonshire.

The salary that they are offering is £35,000 - £50,000 depending on experience.

Roles & Responsibilities :

· Preparing, negotiating and agreeing final accounts

· Preparing sub-contract enquiries and order documentation

· Re-measurement of Bills of Quantities

· Preparing cost budgets and prices for contract variations

· Preparing subcontract valuation and payment certificates

· Monitoring costs to ensure budgets are met
