ABOUT THE ROLE

Wild Child Animation is looking for a Senior Production Coordinator to join us on a CG animated children's TV series. This role will be assigned to coordinate a large Animation department.

Our Production Coordinators are responsible for supporting the project's Producer/Production Manager to ensure the smooth running of the production. Here are some key tasks you will be involved with in this role: 

  • Assigning and monitoring task progress for assigned department(s).
  • Scheduling department(s) whilst keeping an eye on dependencies and finding solutions where possible.
  • General day to day problem solving.
  • Reporting and tracking notes across department(s).
  • Being a key contact for all artists to offer support and to help guide the production.
  • Direct contact for client deliveries and some communication.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR 

  • Previous experience within a similar production role. We will also consider Junior PMs for the position
  • Experience in handling large animation teams
  • A proven track record of delivering long form CG series animation projects
  • High level of organisation and pro-activeness
  • Strong scheduling skills with the ability to adapt to changing schedules
  • Attention to detail with ability to work to tight deadlines
  • An effective communicator with the ability to nurture a collaborative environment
  • A team player who also asks for help when needed.
  • Candidates must be based in the UK, ideally located regionally outside the M25. Although Scotland-based would be preferred.

CONTRACT TYPE: This is a Fixed-Term PAYE contract, expected to start in December 2025/ January 2026 running until mid August 2026.

LOCATION: Remote, hybrid or in-person at our studio in Stirling. Must be based in the UK to be considered.

HOURS: Our standard studio hours are 7 working hours a day (usually 10am to 6pm), Monday to Friday. We are open to discussing flexible working hours on an individual basis where this is possible in the production pipeline.

STUDIO CLOSURES: The studio has team-wide breaks throughout the year. These are usually 1-2 days in Spring, up to 10 days in Summer and 8-10 days over the Winter festive period. Exact dates will be confirmed with the successful candidate.
