Executive Assistant
Bleach moves fast - shoots, launches, collabs, events, you name it - and we're after an Executive Assistant and Office Manager who can keep pace and keep us organised. You'll be the person who always knows what's happening, where things are, and what needs doing next. Equal parts EA, organiser and creative wingperson, you'll keep the office, salon and the Creative Director's world running like clockwork (even on the busiest days).
About Bleach
Bleach London is the brainchild of renowned fashion hairstylist Alex Brownsell, who pioneered the twenty-first-century home hair colour revolution. She turned bleaching and dyeing friends' hair at home into the world's first salon focused on colouring rather than cutting. Ten years, four locations and a ground-breaking product range later, Bleach London now ships an ever-evolving selection of home bleaches, toners, colour and care products all over the world.
All formulas are vegan and cruelty-free and come with expert instructions that allow consumers to bleach and dye like a professional in no time.
The company is a leading hair care provider, and is sold in retailers including Boots, Superdrug, The Hut Group, ASOS and Amazon, as well as Walmart, CVS and Kroger in the US.
What You'll Be Doing
This role wears a few hats. Roughly a third Executive Assistant, a third Office Manager, and a third supporting the Creative Director's hairdressing schedule, diary and socials. It's a busy role, no doubt, but the work is varied and well-balanced. You'll move between creative projects, day-to-day operations and hands-on support, keeping things organised and running smoothly without it ever feeling one-dimensional.
Executive Support to Creative Director
- Provide full administrative and diary support to the Founder & Creative Director, ensuring time is managed effectively and priorities are clear
- Coordinate meetings, launches, and project timelines, liaising with internal teams and external partners to keep everything running smoothly
- Track meeting notes, actions, and deadlines to ensure follow-up and delivery
- Support with general business administration, including contracts, invoices, expenses, and travel arrangements
- Assist with press, PR, and creative projects, managing communication with media, collaborators, and agencies.
- Manage the Creative Director's shoot schedule, coordinating with the agent and shoot producers to confirm timings, travel, kit, and assistant requirements
- Schedule and maintain appointments for private and VIP hair clients both in the office salon and on location, ensuring confidentiality and seamless communication
- Oversee the Creative Director's personal diary, ensuring all commitments are accurately managed and prioritised
- Support with social media management, including drafting and scheduling posts, uploading content, saving references, monitoring engagement, and maintaining an organised archive of images and captions
- Handle occasional personal errands and ad-hoc requests with professionalism and discretion.
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the office and salon, keeping everything organised, professional and welcoming
- Act as the main point of contact for suppliers, contractors, couriers and maintenance
- Manage stock and supplies across the kitchen, bathrooms and product areas, ensuring everything's well maintained and tidy
- Maintain shared spaces, including product cupboards, samples, plants and recycling
- Support logistics for internal meetings, visitors and small team events.
- Proven experience as an Executive Assistant, Office Manager or Studio Manager, ideally within a creative, fashion or beauty environment
- Highly organised, proactive and calm under pressure, with strong attention to detail
- Confident managing multiple projects, priorities and moving parts at once
- Tech-savvy and fluent across Google Workspace, Slack, Microsoft Office, Dropbox and Zoom (Mac and PC)
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating with remote teams
- Familiar with social media platforms and scheduling tools (Instagram, TikTok, Notes app organisation, etc.)
- Professional and discreet, able to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- Experience within a salon, studio or beauty setting is a plus
- Flexible for occasional out-of-hours work during shoots, events or launches.
- We're CREDIBLE with over ten years of salon experience. We hold ourselves accountable.
- We're SPONTANEOUS and are adaptable to change and not afraid of the unexpected. We seek out challenges.
- We're BOLD and don't play it safe. We set trends rather than follow them. We are forward thinking.
- We're AUTHENTIC, honest, inclusive and value individuality. We give a SH*T.
- We're CREATIVE, ambitious, driven by fun, curiosity and world class creativity. Be creative every chance you get.
Don't tick every box? That's okay.
The diversity of our team reflects the diversity of our clients, partners and customers. We don't just welcome diverse communities - we celebrate them. We've built an environment where everyone is supported and respected, and we want you to feel that too. We value fresh ideas, different ways of thinking, and new approaches - and we listen closely. We're committed to learning and improving as we grow.
What's in it for you?
At Bleach, you'll have the chance to see real impact in the work you do and your ideas will always be heard and valued.
- 25 days holiday per calendar year plus the usual public holidays.
- Enhanced Paid Parental Leave (industry leader).
- Private Medical Insurance that includes gym discounts, and lots of other perks.
- Pension contribution on qualifying earnings (not a perk, but still an important part of the package).
- A great space to work - our Central London office is more than just a desk. It's a buzzing hub for collaboration, creativity and fun, all just a short walk from several close by tube stations.
- Employee discount across our products.
- Love hair dye? You'll have the chance to get involved in our new product development - our team is always on the lookout for willing models, so you might just find yourself getting a celeb-style makeover as part of the process.
