Showroom and Marketing Intern

This is a position for a candidate currently studying an Undergraduate degree at a London university, or having completed one, seeking an internship. As a showroom co-ordinator and marketing intern, you will play a pivotal role in working with Directors organising the business both offline in the showroom and online for orders and marketing. Chinese mandarin speaking preferable.

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Digital Marketing Intern based in Greater London, with opportunities for some work-from-home arrangements. In addition in supporting our showroom, the Digital Marketing Intern will assist with social media marketing, digital marketing campaigns, and web analytics. Daily tasks will include working in the showroom and being present at tradeshows in addition to content creation for online marketing, tracking and analyzing campaign performance, and enhancing our online communication strategies. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing within the sustainable procurement sector.

Responsibilities

• Support the PC Directors in meetings in the London showroom and at in-person meetings across the UK, and Europe
• Working with the PC and communications with Brands for Sourcing projects and fabric order requests
• Prepare samples to be shipped to customers on a weekly basis
• Acting as a digital marketing lead, to organise exciting and engaging content for our social media channels including, but not limited to: Instagram, Youtube. This includes promoting events before and after, collecting content from Brands who have sourced PC fabrics, partnerships and collaborations with third parties
• Digital and Social Media Manager responsibilities will be to develop and implement digital and social media strategies with the aim of increasing Group, Centre, product and brand awareness and customer engagement
• Co-ordinating with PC suppliers and ensuring a seamless turn-around of orders made online, in the showroom and via partners. Support in ensuring updates are shared to suppliers and they are up to date and informed at all time
• Work with the Directors to improve workflow and operations via our PC technology platform and work to better integrate CRM management tool to better leverage marketing efforts
• Monitoring and responding to customer feedback, comments, social media posts and Centre reviews (e.g. Google and Facebook) in a timely and accurate manner
• Tracking, reporting, and analysing website analytics, social media growth/engagement stats, marketing campaigns and new/used car enquiries, to enable robust measures of Return on Investment (ROI)

Minimum Qualifications

• Up-to-date knowledge of the latest trends and best practices in digital and social media marketing
• An interest in fashion and interior design
• Strong and fluent English proficiency and Chinese Mandarin
• An understanding of how each social media channel differs with content and its community and to be able to optimise content accordingly
• Pro-active and 'can do' attitude, looking to actively identify opportunities and challenges and propose ideas and potential solutions
• Ability to prioritise and juggle multiple tasks and projects at the same time
• Ability to work alone productively and with initiative, but also as play an active role as part of a team
• Good skill levels across MS Office, Adobe Photoshop and Image/Videography packages, with a keen eye for photography and videography

Preferred Qualifications:

• Marketing and communications savvy with an excitement
• Comfortable with data and analysis and preparing of reports and summaries
• Confidence to work with Directors and Senior Management teams
• Willingness to travel, on occasions, to locations across London and Europe
