Job Description: We are looking for a caring and dedicated Nursery Nurse to join our team. Your passion for early childhood education and commitment to creating a safe, engaging environment will ensure that every child in our care thrives.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide attentive, high-quality care for children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for children, accommodating dietary restrictions and preferences.
  • Collect children from school, ensuring their safe transportation back to the nursery.
  • Support the implementation of age-appropriate and educational activities.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and nurturing environment for children, staff, and families.
  • Maintain a clean and organised nursery environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing updates on children's progress and daily activities.
  • Assist with general administrative tasks and record-keeping as needed.

Qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent (required).
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a nursery or early childhood education setting (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to cook healthy, balanced meals and snacks.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for school pick-ups.

Pay: £12.25 per hour
