Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the development and well-being of young children. You will be responsible for planning and implementing engaging activities that cater to the individual needs of each child, ensuring their safety and happiness while fostering their growth.

Duties

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programmes that encourage learning through play.
  • Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children.
  • Observe and assess children's development, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress and activities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the highest standards of care are met.
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to build strong relationships.
  • Build positive relationships with parents and children and be delegated your own key children.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in early years education.

Skills

  • Strong leadership abilities to ensure daily routine and structure.
  • Experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is essential.
  • A solid understanding of early childhood education principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • A nurturing approach with the ability to engage children in meaningful ways.
