Working pattern: Full-time, Mon–Fri between 7.30am and 6.00pm, all year round

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Start date: Immediate start available

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will support children aged 6 months to 4 years, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development through engaging activities, creative play, and caring guidance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to thrive.
  • Planning and delivering age-appropriate activities that promote exploration, creativity, and learning.
  • Building strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Observing and recording children's progress, supporting individual development.
  • Ensuring children's well-being and comfort through personal care routines.

About You

  • Minimum Level 3 Early Childhood Education and Care qualification (or working towards).
  • A genuine passion for working with young children and understanding their needs.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in partnership with families.
  • Patience, creativity, and adaptability to support a variety of learning styles.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and a strong commitment to child safety.
