Job Description
Purpose of Position
Provide an effective and suitable administrative service within the Transport Department for dealing with all Project Libra vehicle repairs, monitor and reduce VOR time for damage repairs, control repair cost and ensure good value is achieved for each repair within their approval limit, also ensure repair costs are managed and best value is achieved for repairs that need to be escalated for management approval as well as provide administrative support for the RTC team and ODF Coordinator.
Key Task & Responsibilities
- Project Libra champion for the RTC team ensuring all Project Libra timescales are adhered to for all ODF vehicle terminations
- Introduction of and ensuring all Project Libra timescales are adhered to for all ODF van swaps
- Be responsible for personal agreed spend limit
- Ensure costs savings are achieved within sign off limits
- Seek good value for money in all repairs, even those that are escalated for management approval
- Arrange prompt payment of excess invoices to facilitate timely release of vehicles
- Provide account management for all suppliers, ensuring payment terms are met
- Vehicle VOR recording, monitoring and minimising time off road by contact with bodyshop network
- Maximise ULR success rates by providing accurate repair information
- Maintenance and updates of the MID
- Ensuring Datalive uploads occur within timescales
- Provide central support for Vehicle Check App queries
- Provide Regional cover for RTC team absence and ability to absorb increase of another network region
- Provide support to the ODF Coordinator
- Any other reasonable management request
Qualifications
You will be someone who takes pride in their work consistently producing work of a high quality. Your strong communication, listening and problem resolution skills will be fully utilised in this role. We would also expect you to have:

- Ability to prioritise and manage your time effectively
- Ability to cope with change
- Ability to handle difficult situation and challenging conversations
- Able to work in a systematic, methodical and orderly way following all depot instructions and procedures to include all regulatory requirements e.g Health and Safety
- Able to work on your own initiative and without close supervision
