Role Description

This is a full-time on-site position located in London for an Estimating Manager. The primary responsibilities include reviewing project specifications, preparing detailed cost estimates, managing bid timelines, and collaborating with project teams to ensure accurate tender submissions. The Estimating Manager will also build and maintain client and vendor relationships, oversee the bidding process, and analyze project risks and budget requirements to support successful project execution.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Construction Estimating, Cost Analysis, and Project Budgeting
  • Strong knowledge of Tendering, Bid Preparation, and Contract Administration
  • Experience in Vendor Negotiations, Procurement, and Building Relationships with Suppliers
  • Excellent Analytical, Problem-Solving, and Decision-Making skills
  • Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills for effective collaboration with clients and project teams
  • Proficiency in using relevant estimating software and tools
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field is preferred
  • Previous experience in commercial painting, decorating, or construction industries is an asset
